EXTRA WIDE 1BR Apartment Taman Anggrek Residence at Central City near 4 Mall with 5 Star Facility Overview

First Impressions

Walking into EXTRA WIDE 1BR Apartment Taman Anggrek Residence at Central City near 4 Mall with 5 Star Facility — yes, that’s actually the full name — you immediately understand why they emphasize the “extra wide” part. This three-star apartment-style accommodation in Jakarta’s Grogol Petamburan district genuinely delivers on space, which honestly feels like a upscale in a city where every square meter counts. The lobby has that modern residential feel rather than typical hotel grandeur, but there’s something refreshing about the straightforward approach.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s impressive? The location really lives up to the hype — recent guests consistently rate it a perfect 10, and I can see why. Taman Anggrek Residences sits in this sweet spot where you’re close to four major shopping centers without being stuck in the chaos of central Jakarta traffic all day. The Tanjung Duren area might not be the most glamorous part of the city, but it’s incredibly practical for travelers who want easy access to malls, restaurants, and public transport. Couples seem to particularly appreciate how walkable everything is — you can actually stroll to dinner instead of battling Jakarta’s legendary traffic jams.

The Apartment Experience

The one-bedroom setup feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a hotel room. There’s actual living space here — a proper sofa where you can spread out, a dining area that works for both room service and takeout from nearby warungs, and a kitchen that’s functional enough if you want to grab groceries from the local markets. The “extra wide” promise holds true; I mean, you can actually open your suitcase without having to move furniture around. The decor is contemporary without being flashy, and everything feels clean and well-maintained, which matters more than fancy finishes when you’re staying for several days.

Practical Amenities

Here’s where things get interesting — they mention “5 Star Facility” in the name, and while the apartment itself is solidly three-star, the building amenities actually punch above their weight. There’s a decent swimming pool, a fitness center that’s better equipped than you’d expect, and — this is huge in Jakarta — reliable parking on site. No circling the block for twenty minutes hoping to find a spot. The Wi-Fi works consistently, which honestly can’t be taken for granted everywhere in the city, and the air conditioning keeps up with Jakarta’s humidity without sounding like a jet engine.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it solves the typical Jakarta accommodation dilemma — you get space, location, and value without sacrificing comfort. Business travelers appreciate having room to work and relax, while couples love the romantic potential of cooking together or just having space to breathe after exploring the city. The fact that you can walk to multiple shopping centers means you’re never stuck for dining options, and the residential setting gives you a genuine taste of how locals live. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just a well-located, spacious apartment that makes Jakarta feel more manageable and enjoyable.
